Pull up a spot and enjoy a freshly pulled pint at our annual Problem Child Beer and Gin Festival.
Taking place from September 1-3rd at The Wayfarer in Parbold, Lancashire, it’s a three day beer bonanza for those who love the hoppy malty goodness of hand crafted cask ales.
Our very own Problem Child will be on the hand pulls with Dirty Bier, Scoundrel, Rapscallion, Rascal and Scallywag making a headline appearance.
Not wanting to steal all the glory for ourselves, we have a whopping further 13 international beers and 6 ciders for you to whet your whistle over the three day weekend.
Half Price Beer on Sunday
If you’re joining us on Sunday, 3rd September, once 5pm hits, whatever is left on the hand pulls is yours for half price. It needs to be drunk, and we need your help to do it! Go on, book Monday off work. You know you want to.
The Gin Wardrobe
Bringing non-beer loving friends? Our quirky gin wardrobe will be open with 13 speciality gins from all over the world, paired with intriguing infusions and garnishes, topped with crisp, delicious flavoured tonics. Not to be missed!
Live Music
Live music will play across the weekend at various times.
Headliners at the festival will be:
Friday at 9pm – Marble Eyes
This high energy foursome bring their own unique spin and expert musical skills to a range of covers from across the decades. Arguably they’re better than many of the music legends they take on. Bring your dancing shoes and your drinking boots.
Saturday at 9pm – Lyons and La Zel
Glastonbury favourites Lyons and La Zel blend beat boxing with live acoustic guitar, flute and beautifully mesmerising vocals. Quirky, artistic, not to be missed!
Sunday at 3pm – The Tune Inn
The Tune Inn, an acoustic trio featuring guitars and double bass will play out the afternoon as we hopefully drink in the sunshine.
A selection of musicians and vocalists will play at other times across the whole weekend.
Paul’s Street Food
Head chef, Paul Harries and the team have crafted a wicked menu of delicious street food to sample across the weekend. If you’ve been to The Wayfarer before, you’ll know how flavour obsessed Paul and the team are. This really is a treat for the tastebuds.
